Why This Directory Matters

We are a volunteer-led website compiling free, low-cost, and specialized mental health services across North Carolina. Our directory helps residents, families, and helpers quickly find support that fits culture, language, and budget.

The Team

A serene consultation room without any people, featuring a pair of empty, comfortable armchairs upholstered in soft gray fabric facing each other, with a small round wooden table between them. On the table sits a closed folder labeled “NC Mental Health Resources” in clean, sans-serif text, alongside a glass of water and a small potted plant with rich green leaves. The room’s walls are painted a soothing light blue, with a minimalist framed map outline of North Carolina on one side. Warm, diffused afternoon light spills in from a large window, creating subtle highlights on the fabric and tabletop. Photographic realism, eye-level composition with a gentle depth of field, evoking a calm, welcoming, and professional atmosphere of support and readiness to help.
